I'm excited once again to ride in the YSC Tour de Pink 2022! Every dollar raised supports the young Breast Cancer community through Young Survival Coalition (YSC).
This year’s ride will be different this year. The pandemic has severely impacted non-profits and the Tour de Pink will only be held on the East Coast this year, which I'm unable to attend. No in-person ride for 2022 is scheduled in Santa Barbara, CA but YSC has offered a virtual option for those of us in CA. It's not the same as having the "experience" of riding with all my TDP peeps, but that’s not stopping me. The most important part is raising funds to continue my fight against Breast Cancer.
I've set a goal of riding 250 miles through the end of October, of which I've already met and exceeded! Most of you know I’m an avid cyclist so you can be sure I would meet my goal. And I'm riding more through 10/31! I am still very committed to this organization and raising funds to help young women dealing with Breast Cancer.
This will be my 8th Breast Cancer fundraiser, of which I’ve raised over $35,000 to date and I’m not stopping there. My own Breast Cancer diagnosis in 2020 has motivated me even more to continue my goal of helping to bring an end to this disease that affects our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts and friends.
I'm grateful that the money we raise contributes to the research that saves lives, supports Breast Cancer patients and helps them get mammograms, continued care, food deliveries, and gives hope. I'm grateful for the family and friends that support us survivors/thrivers!
Thanks in advance for supporting me in this cause to end Breast Cancer. If you want to donate, I'm fundraising through October 31st. I truly appreciate your generosity. You can't stop me! Let’s conquer together!
